It was the first Fold with an IPX8 rating and the first to work with an S Pen. Buying one used today is the sensible way into a 7.6-inch pocketable screen — the format has not fundamentally changed since, and the price has.

What the big screen is actually for

Two full apps side by side, spreadsheets that do not need horizontal scrolling, PDFs at readable size, and Flex Mode for hands-free video calls. If you carry a phone and a small tablet, this replaces both.
