The Boombox 3 is the one you take outside. IP67 means fully dust-tight and submersible, not merely splash-resistant — it survives a poolside, a beach day and a rainy-season downpour that would kill a lesser speaker. The carry handle runs the full width, so one person moves it comfortably.

Sound

A three-way system: two racetrack woofers, three tweeters and dual passive bass radiators. The separate tweeters are the upgrade that matters over older Boomboxes — cymbals and vocal detail no longer smear when the bass is working. It is tuned loud and warm, which suits outdoor listening where there are no walls to reinforce the low end.

Choosing between this and a PartyBox

The Boombox is waterproof, battery-first and carried by hand — right for beaches, boats, camping and anywhere power is uncertain.
