Check This First: eSIM Only or Physical SIM?
Some Pixel 10 models, mainly those made for the US market, have no physical SIM tray. They only take an eSIM. That's why the table shows two versions of some phones.
- eSIM only is cheaper. It works in Nigeria if your network gives you an eSIM, which the major networks do. You'll need to visit your network or use their app to convert your line.
- Physical SIM + eSIM costs more, but you can put your current SIM card straight in, and run two lines at once.

How Long Will Your Pixel Get Updates?
This is where Pixels differ most, and it should decide which one you buy.
- Pixel 8a, 8 Pro, 9 series and 10 series: Google promises seven years of Android and security updates from launch. A UK Used Pixel 8a bought today still has years of updates left.
- Pixel 6 Pro, 7 and 7 Pro: these get five years of security updates from launch. The Pixel 6 Pro is at the end of its support in 2026, and the Pixel 7 series in 2027. They're still good phones, but they're the ones to buy for a short-term or backup phone.
