UK used iPhone prices in Nigeria (2026)

"UK used" is the most searched phone term in Nigeria for a reason: you get a phone that was used gently on contract abroad for a fraction of the brand-new price. But it's also where most buyers get burned — iCloud-locked phones, swapped batteries, and units reported stolen in another country.

Here's what UK used / certified pre-owned iPhones actually cost in Nigeria right now, followed by the checklist we use in-store before any phone touches our shelf.

The 5 checks before you pay for any used iPhone

1. IMEI blacklist check. Dial *#06# for the IMEI, then run it through a blacklist checker before paying. A phone reported lost or stolen in the UK will eventually be blocked here too. Every phone we stock has already passed this check as part of the Zigga Promise.

2. iCloud/Activation Lock. Go to Settings → the seller's Apple ID must be signed out in front of you, and the phone must reach the setup screen without asking for someone else's password. An iCloud-locked iPhone is scrap.

3. Battery health. Settings → Battery → Battery Health. Below 85%, negotiate hard or walk away — a battery replacement costs ₦138,600+.

4. Parts authenticity. On iOS 15.2+, Settings → General → About lists "Parts and Service History." "Unknown Part" next to the screen or battery means it was swapped, possibly with a low-quality clone.

5. A real warranty. "Tested and working" means nothing after you leave. Every Ziggatech iPhone is certified across all the checks above and covered by a 12-month warranty.

UK used vs certified pre-owned: what's the difference?

"UK used" describes where the phone came from. "Certified pre-owned" describes what happened after: independent verification, genuine-parts inspection, battery grading, and a warranty. Same phone, very different risk. When two sellers quote different prices for "the same" iPhone 13, this is almost always the gap.
